This new execution service further promotes retail investor trading. Authorized banks and brokers can trade in a dedicated retail environment, either as a Retail Member Organization (RMO) or a Retail Liquidity Provider (RLP). RMOs and their clients benefit from lower transaction fees and price improvements on Xetra order executions. RLPs can provide liquidity for the dedicated retail order flow. Participation requires a one-time registration as an RMO and/or RLP and signing the RMO/RLP agreement.
Registered Liquidity Providers receive attractive incentives – up to a full rebate on Xetra transaction fees – for providing liquidity on the best visible bid or offer side in continuous trading for specified instruments.
Our trading participants incur no transaction fees for executing orders generated through equity and ETF savings plans and robo-advisory services for retail investors.
Are you a retail investor? Then our new "Xetra Price Improvement" service is for you: Narrower spreads between bid and ask prices reduce your trading costs and increase your returns. This is made possible by a new market maker role that specifically provides liquidity for retail investors in the Xetra order book. Retail investor orders receive price improvements or are executed at least at the current Xetra price. Additionally, transaction costs are reduced for all participating banks and brokers, which they can pass on to you through lower fees.
