Trading in the Extended Xetra Retail Service takes place from Monday to Friday from 8 to 8:55 CET (early trading) and from 17:30 (depending on the Xetra closing auction and the Trade at Close Service) to 22 CET (late trading).
At Frankfurt trading hours are in general from 8 until 22 CET. Differing from this are trading times for bonds (8 until 17:30).

Trading of shares and Exchange traded products on Frankfurt ends on public holidays (Germany and State of Hesse) where trading takes place according to the FWB trading calendar at 20:00 CET. Deviating from this, structured products are traded until 22:00 CET on these days.
On December 30, 2026, deviating trading hours may apply. In this case, a circular with the relevant data for the last trading day of the year (final trading session of the year) will be published.
