AllianzGI is entering the European ETF market with the "Allianz Smart Active" ETFs, building on its multiple years of experience in investment management, its expertise in active management, as well as its diversified investment platform.
The actively managed equity ETFs follows an active, quantitative investment approach. The fund management employs a systematic, rule-based process that analyses individual securities and selects then based on their attractiveness using proprietary investment signals. To identify attractive investment opportunities, the strategy leverages techniques such as data analysis, machine learning, natural language processing and artificial intelligence.. The signals are derived from factors such as market positioning, price dynamics, analyst assessments and factor premiums.
The three ETFs offer investors access to different equity markets, with regional focuses on the US, Europe and global markets.
