043/2026: Amendments to the GTC to the Connection Agreement and to the Provider Connection Agreement of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, as well as to the Price List for the Utilization of the Exchange EDP of FWB Frankfurt Stock Exchange, effective as of 9 November 2026

1. Introduction

With this circular, we inform you about amendments to the GTC to the Connection Agreement and to the Provider Connection Agreement of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, as well as about amendments to the Price List for the Utilization of the Exchange EDP of FWB Frankfurt Stock Exchange, Part A (Price List T7), effective as of 9 November 2026.

The changes to the GTC to the Connection Agreement and to the Provider Connection Agreement of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange relate to the introduction of Sponsored Access (SpA).

The changes to the Price List T7 relate to the following:

A. Introduction of Sponsored Access (SpA)

B. Introduction of a 1Gbit/s transaction line

3. Details of the initiative

Changes to the GTC to the Connection Agreement and to the Provider Connection Agreement of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange

In preparation for the introduction of Sponsored Access (SpA) at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange planned for 1 February 2027, the following amendments will be made to the GTC to the Connection Agreement and to the Provider Connection Agreement:

  • Definition of the terms “SpA Provider”, “SpA User”, “DMA Provider” and “DMA User”, and
  • Clarification of the provisions governing the rights and obligations of SpA Providers and DMA Providers.

In addition, the liability provisions will be adjusted.

Changes to the T7 Price List

A. Introduction of Sponsored Access (SpA)

For the utilization of Sponsored Access, new connectivity components (bandwidths and sessions) are offered. The new Sponsored Access connectivity components for FWB Trading Participants acting as SpA Providers and for Multi-Member Service Providers are included in the T7 Price List. Until the launch of Sponsored Access, planned for 1 February 2027, fees for Sponsored Access connectivity components are waived.

B. Introduction of a 1 Gbit/s transaction line

With T7 Release 15.0, Deutsche Börse AG introduces the 1 Gbit/s transaction line “Transactions ETI 1 Gbit/s Prime”. The price for this connectivity item is included in the T7 Price List.

Further information on the planned introduction of Sponsored Access

The Connection Agreement for SpA Users, the corresponding GTC to the Connection Agreement for SpA Users and the Price List to the Connection Agreement for SpA Users will be provided shortly.

The introduction of SpA is still subject to the approval of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange Council and the Hessian Stock Exchange Supervisory Authority.

The amendments will be deemed to be approved, unless the Trading Participant admitted at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange or Vendor files objections to the amendments with Deutsche Börse AG, Mergenthalerallee 61, 65760 Eschborn, Germany, in writing within six weeks after the amendments’ announcement.
