Deutsche Börse Readiness Newsflash | T7 Cloud Simulation Migration to GCP

Deutsche Börse Readiness Newsflash

This Newsflash is to inform you about the upcoming migration of the T7 Cloud Simulation environment to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The migration will take place on Saturday, 28 March 2026. After the migration, the current simulation environment will be decommissioned.

Key impact

To ensure a smooth transition, please be aware of the following critical change:

Existing instances will NOT be migrated. You are required to create new instances in the new GCP-based environment to continue using the service.

Required action

Please follow the steps below to adapt your setup to the new GCP simulation environment:

1.  Access the new environment

  • Your existing login credentials will be migrated automatically, so you can sign in with your current username and password.

2.  Create your new Cloud instances

The actions required depend on your connectivity setup. Please follow the instructions according to your current connectivity setup:

Client setup

Action required

IPSec (Static Ips)

A new counterpart IP address will be provided for each Cloud Simulation IP. You will need to update the target IP address on your infrastructure for the IPSec/GRE tunnel.

OpenVPN (Static IP)

New counterpart IP addresses will be provided. You must re-generate your keys using the "Key Generator" button on the new instance page, then download the updated package and apply the new certificates and OpenVPN configuration.

OpenVPN (Dynamic IP)

After starting your new instance, you can download the configuration from the Launchpad as you normally would. No other changes are required.

3.  Update Cloud Simulation API URL

If you use the Cloud Simulation API, please update your applications to use the new URL:
https://api.cloudsim.deutsche-boerse.com/

Please note:
The instance launch process may take 40 to 90 seconds to complete. Overall startup time will remain comparable to the previous environment. To avoid errors, please do not submit repeated start requests or refresh your browser during this period.
