Following this year's annual general meeting (AGM) season, we would like to discuss some key takeaways. We will address trends in the choice of AGM formats, whether virtual, in-person, or hybrid, and the corresponding statutory authorizations. We will also share practical experiences regarding the appointment of the sustainability auditor and Say on Pay resolutions.
Speakers:
- Dr. Oliver Rieckers is a Corporate Partner in the Düsseldorf office of Hengeler Mueller. He advises companies on corporate and capital market law issues, particularly in transformation processes, restructurings, joint ventures, and public takeovers. He also specializes in board and supervisory board advice, corporate litigation, and the management of annual general meetings.
- Dr. Christian Strothotte is a Corporate Partner in the Düsseldorf office of Hengeler Mueller. He advises on corporate law, restructurings, and M&A transactions. His other areas of expertise include the management of annual general meetings, capital and structural measures, conversion measures, as well as corporate and capital market law issues, particularly in takeover situations.
